The Nurse Behind The Art

Alkimos Lux Aesthetics is a boutique, nurse-led aesthetics clinic based in Alkimos, Perth — Founded and personally run by Megan, a highly experienced registered nurse with a passion for both patient care and aesthetic medicine. 

Megan began her nursing career in 2015 and went on to work as a senior clinical nurse at one of Perth’s largest hospitals, where she gained extensive clinical experience and a deep foundation in medical safety, acute patient care, precision, patient advocacy, and much more.

As a mother of two young children, Megan made the intentional decision to create a space that allowed her to remain hands-on at home while continuing to do what she loves most — caring for others. Her transition into aesthetics was driven by a desire to help people look and feel their best, while promoting self-confidence, self-love, and natural beauty. 

Alongside her established nursing career, Megan holds advanced qualifications in aesthetics and cosmetic injectables. Her approach is thoughtful, ethical, and evidence-based, with a strong emphasis on facial anatomy, safety, and tailored enhancements, that ensures each individual client feels beautiful. 

Set within a calm, private, and welcoming home-based clinic, Alkimos Luxe Aesthetics is a little haven which offers a relaxed environment where clients feel safe, heard, and cared for. Megan believes that aesthetic treatments should enhance — not alter — and that every result should feel aligned with the individual.
